This course focused on skills in primary palliative care. Participants
learned strategies in communication, symptom assessment and
management, with the goal of improving quality of life for patients and
families. The participant completed all assessment questions,
submitted eight empathy reflections, and participated in four
discussions involving critical analysis of issues in palliative care.
