3. Secondary data is the data that has already been collected through primary sources
What is Secondary Data?
It is a type of data that has already been collected in the past.

4. Common sources of secondary data:
Surveys
Census
Organization
al record
Qualitative

5. A census is the procedure of systematically enumerating, and
acquiring and recording information about the members of a
given population.

6. A survey is a list of questions aimed at
extracting specific data from a particular group
of people.

Organizational data describe central characteristics of
organizations, their internal structures and processes as
well as their behavior as corporate actors in different
social and economic contexts.

The sources of published data are as below:
A newspaper is a serial publication which
contains daily or weekly and that contains news on
current events of special or general interest , articles
of opinion, features, and advertising .

organizations:
4. Official publication of foreign government or international bodies like the
UNO, World Bank, ADO, WTO, UNESCO, ILO, WHO, UNEP etc.

Commercial Flanks, Co-operatives, Stock Exchange etc
The Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS) and National Institute of Population
Research and Training (NIPORT) arc the major sources of data for seconds,
analysis.

government.

various educational and research institutions like SRT, BRRI, BIDS, B1RI,
BRRC, BRAC etc .

12. Unpublished Sources
The statistical data does not need to be published always.
There are various sources of unpublished statistical data

2. Business enterprise,
3. Scholars, research workers etc.
