LAST WEEK’S ACTION
The Wildcats lost both of their matches on the road this past weekend in three sets.
The Wildcats first took on in-state rival Southern Utah . They finished off their
weekend falling to Northern Arizona. The loss dropped the Wildcats to 6-20, 2-10
in Big Sky Conference play. The Wildcats dropped a five-set thriller to Grand Can-
yon on Monday night.
ON TAP
The Wildcats will host two matches this week after spending the past two weeks on
the road. First, Sacramento State will look to pick up their fourth conference road
win on Thursday night. Portland State will look to win their 11th straight match
against the Wildcats on Saturday night.
1,000 KILLS IS A “BIGGS” DEAL
Audrey Biggs will look to continue the hot streak she found on Monday in the
Wildcats match against Grand Canyon. Biggs 26 kills were just three short of her
personal best and the 10th time she had over 20 kills in a match this season. Also,
she has chance to make history as she enters the week with 974 kills for her career.
With 26 more kills, she will become just the 13th Wildcat to have over 1,000 kills in
her career. When she reaches the milestone she will have done it in only a three-
year career – as she transferred to WSU after her freshman year at Wichita State.
McKAY MAKING HISTORY
McKay Tarbox will be coming off her best performance of the season, 35 digs
against GCU. That performance was the third best performance in school history, as
she now holds two of the top three performances in school history. Her season total
of 397 has her ninth for most digs in a single-season, two short of passing Keelee
Kap for eighth.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Wildcats will have their last two matches of the season next week. They will first
travel to take on Montana State on Thursday, November 13. They will have a quick
turnaround and host the Big Sky leading Idaho State on senior night on November
15.
