7. Thesis: Because God’s purposes are all accomplished by his own strength through grace, he will fulfill his original promises to Israel someday.

8. Definition: Wot means to know something; to be aware.

9. Point 1. The Old Testament stories are designed to give you pictures that illustrate New Testament truth.

10. Definition: Grace is God doing for you that which he does not have to do, and that which should produce rejoicing in you because he did it anyway.

11. Point 2. The lost have been hardened by what they were doing to gain God’s favor, and that has shut them out from seeing God’s grace.

27. Point 15. When you live a disobedient life, you delay the blessing but you do not cancel the promise.

28. Corollary: It is obedience that makes blessings happen when they are supposed to happen so you don't lose precious time waiting for them to happen.

30. Point 17. Bible doctrine isn't designed just for categories in your brain, or divisions in your systematic theology; it is designed to ignite a new seriousness for God!
