This document describes a virtual community website called LibWorld-Japan. It includes the following key points: 1) LibWorld-Japan is a collaborative website that allows members to blog, discuss topics, and share resources. It has different membership levels including regular members and read-only members. 2) Usage statistics show it has over 500 page views per month and over 150 RSS subscribers. The site launched in 2007 and currently has over 2400 posts. 3) In addition to blogging, the site allows members to archive content and uses other social media like Twitter to engage the community. It provides a space for discussion around library and information science.
