Leung So Kee is an umbrella shop that was founded in 1885 in Guangzhou, China. It opened its first branch in Hong Kong in 1920 and continued expanding, opening its 14th and final branch in 1996. The shop handmakes all of its umbrellas using traditional techniques, and it offers customers a lifetime warranty on its products and customization services for tourists. Leung So Kee faces challenges as it only has one location now in Sham Shui Po, an older area with lower consumer spending, and its products are more expensive than competitors while having an image of being outdated.
