Gildan T-shirts for Ladies
Let’s begin with the Gildan T-shirt.
Gildan has 3 different series of ladies t-shirts. The two major differences between these shirts is
the cut of the shirt and the weight of the cotton. All of these shirts are 100% cotton.
The Gildan “Ultra” 2000 series are a 10 ounce. These are a straight cut t-shirt. They are
also available in long sleeve.
The Gildan “Heavy” 5000 t-shirts are 8.9 ounce which means the cotton is a little
thinner than the Gildan 2000. These shirts are slightly contoured.
The Gildan “Softstyle” 64000 series of t-shirts. These are slightly thinner again at 7.5
ounces and have a more pronounced contour that the 5000 t-shirts. The Softstyle shirts
are available in regular crew necks as well as v-necks

2. T-shirt Sizing for the Ladies Shirts
Gildan 2000L (XS, S, M, L, XL and 2XL)
XS – 16” x 23.5”
S – 18” x 25”
M – 20” x 26”
L – 22” x 27”
XL – 24” x 28”
2XL – 26” x 29”
Gildan 5000L (S, M, L, XL and 2XL)
Notice that there are no XS and remember that the sides are slightly contoured. Also notice that
the t-shirts are slightly shorter for each size when compared to the Gildan 2000L)
S – 17.25” x 23.5”
M – 19.25” x 25”
L – 21.25” x 26”
XL – 23.25” x 27”
2XL – 25.25” x 28”
Gildan 64000L and the 64V00L V-neck (S, M, L, XL and 2XL)

3. Notice that there is no 2XL. These shirts are part of the 2000 series so the sides are straight (no
contour).

Gildan Ladies Tank Tops
Gildan no longer makes a tank top for women however a Bella does. Please see the Bella
section below.
The Available Colours
For this section I’m going to indicate the colour and then follow it by the style that each colour is
available in (2000L / 5000L / 64000L including the Gildan ladies v-necks (L-V – 64V00L) and
long sleeve for ladies (LS-L – Gildan 2400L).
Now, f you are looking for t-shirts for a project that will include t-shirts for not only women but
men and children as well it helps to know what t-shirts are available in the 4 main styles

I’ve also added whether the colour is available in men’s (M – 2000), men’s v-necks (M-V –

Alstyle Apparel

5. We recently had an order request for chocolate brown ladies
t-shirts with a v-neck and men’s t-shirts in the same colour. Alstyle had just what we needed.
Although we have been carrying the Alstyle baseball shirts for a couple of years now and have
found them to be of consistently excellent quality, we had never printed on the Alstyle t-shirts
before. The need never arose.
The customer placed the order order and when we printed these shirts we were very pleased
with the quality of the shirts. And a great benefit to the Alstyle line-up is the number of shirt
colours and sizes available throughout. At that point we decided to carry the line.
The ladies t-shirts are available in two styles. The women’s t-shirt (5562) are a 7.5 ounce 100%
cotton shirt with a slightly scooped neck. They are available in 17 colours. They are available in
S – 2XL
Their ladies v-neck (5500) is also 7.5 ounces and are available in S – 2XL. These shirts have a
side seam and are a contoured fit.
