1. Introduction
Egypt’s sports sector is riddled with obstacles that limit athletes from attaining
professional status, including:
• underdeveloped physical education,
• low availability of qualified sports instructors/coaches,
• and low financing instruments for sports at all levels.
Faree2y is a company operating to develop sports in Egypt and address such issues
by improving access to quality sports-related services in terms of cost, location and
service-delivery methodology.
In 2018, Faree2y launched “Forsa”, a program that sources, develops and sponsors
young football players from all over Egypt. We find and cultivate talent proficient
enough to represent Egypt in the international market while ultimately raising the
competitiveness of Egypt’s football sector and developing underserved youth.
Forsa’s objective is to provide quality football training for all young players. Our main
focus is to reach and support youth who would not otherwise participate in organized
football due to financial constraints.
3
Vision: To become the leading service provider and sports agency in MEA
through applying scientific service delivery approaches.
Forsa Mission: To 1- sustain our current operations (talent acquisition and
development) by creating partnerships with sports-promoting entities and individuals
and by marketing talent to local and international sports organisations. And to 2-
expand our operations to improve our overall pool of youth football talent in Egypt.
Faree2y aims to build social, economic capital by improving local sports

Egypt’s last recorded gold at the Summer Olympics was back in 2004, only after 56 years of poor performance yielding no gold medals during that time
and a total of 7 gold, 10 silver and 15 bronze medals.
Egypt’s last world cup yielded 3 losses, putting us at a standstill with 2 points since our first participation in 1934; only the second version of the world cup.
An exception would be squash, which is arguably Egypt’s most successful niche sport. Squash is supported by a strong community of highly-skilled
players, committed funders and comprehensive club infrastructure. Players are centralised in Cairo/Alexandria and tournaments are held often, resulting in
more competition and practice. Currently, Egyptians dominate Men’s and Women’s PSA World Rankings
Something should be done; this is where we come in.

02/02/20 Sponsorship Prospectus 2020-2021
Sports entities, like leagues, clubs, major events and non-profit organisations, are embedded within local communities and a wider nexus of stakeholder
relationships that impact societies at large. Sports today do not function without sponsorship. Abroad, sports are generally funded and have great
commercial partnerships with multiple businesses. In Egypt, however, sponsorship and sports-related marketing has developed more slowly. Faree2y aims
to generate commercial revenue at all levels of sport and positively impact youth and their communities by facilitating more sporting opportunities and
channels to success.
• Sponsorship is an inexpensive advertising investment that will last (high visibility, good cause, popular sport);
• Sponsorship has a major direct impact on players/families and generates positive brand association within local communities (effective use of marketing
money);
• Sponsorship benefits the local area/economy (extra foot-traffic in surrounding businesses from those interested/involved in football/sports).
3.3 Forsa - Sports Sponsorship Rationale
