Street Missions (Involvement by the St David’s Cathedral Renewal Fellowship) • Working with, helping or supporting, groups like the Missionaries of Charity and 40 Days for Life; with a range of activities and programs. • Street Missions help engage with the public of all backgrounds; Meeting them where they are in their faith, listening to them, and guiding them onwards. • Street Missions help guide people who are open to find out more, along their walk of faith, by inviting them to one or more event that may help them gain a better understanding of the Christian Faith and the Catholic Church. Street Mission Work is an act of Charity and involves:- • Being a Visible Catholic Witness on the Streets • Praying on the Streets with MC & 40 Days for Life, etc… • Animated Scriptures in Lent and Advent with MC • Engaging in peaceful discussion with people • Sharing the Good News of God’s Love & Saving Grace • Inviting interested people to visit the Church or inviting them to one or more of the activities • Developing a matrix of suitable information; events/talks and hand outs for follow-up 1. - 6. 2. Devotional Prayers • Weekly prayers before the Blessed Sacrament • Rosary • Divine Mercy Chaplet • Scriptures and Quiet times of Reflection • Praise and Worship • Followed by Refreshments in the Sacristy Spiro Sueref - June 2013
- 7. 3. The Christian Cinema Club • The Christian Cinema Club is designed to facilitate Evangelisation or Re-Evangelisation. • Weekly Films and Documentaries • Animating Bible Stories and Catholic Saints Lives and Catholic teachings, etc... Spiro Sueref - June 2013

The Christian Cinema Club “For some people it is easier to invite their friends and family to come and watch a film than to invite them to a Church activity.” • Generally Planned to follow the Liturgical Year • A wide range of Films to cover most Bible Stories • Free Membership and Entrance (Donations Only) • Followed by Hospitality – Tea/Coffee & Snacks • Making this a social activity with a mission and a follow- up to other events, activities and programs Spiro Sueref - June 2013

Healing Services – Cont. • Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Sacrament of Reconciliation for Catholics • In the past we have had people of other faiths and denominations attend, including Seeks and Muslims • Reveals the Healing Ministry of Jesus Christ in His Church Spiro Sueref - June 2013

Healing & Renewal Weekends • Working with other groups for a bigger event over a weekend; Widely Promoted • Gifted, Guest Speakers invited • Praise & Worship; Teachings; Healing Ministry and Prayers for Empowerment • Leadership Training Seminars & Workshops • Testimonies of healing in the past Spiro Sueref - June 2013
- 14. 7. Volunteers Commissioning Service • Annual Volunteers Commissioning Service • Usually Planned for the Pentecost Vigil Mass at St David’s Cathedral • During Mass Canon Peter invites Volunteers to the Sanctuary and says a prayer of Commissioning Spiro Sueref - June 2013
- 15. 8. Annual Retreats and Conferences (E.g. Annual Retreat & Conference Led by Spiro at The Pantasaph Franciscan Friary- Running since 2009) • 2, 3 or 4 day annual retreats away encouraged to help personal spiritual growth • Helps volunteering teams bond, share and reflect. • Helps Mission and Evangelistic teams gain experience • Increases their knowledge of Scriptures and the practice of various ministries • Leadership Training; Seminars & Workshops • Many Testimonies of healing in the past Spiro Sueref - June 2013
