South Carolina is located below North Carolina and next to Georgia, making it the second most southern of the 13 colonies. It has a mostly English population with some French and Spanish settlers as well. South Carolina follows English rule under King George III and permits slavery, allowing settlers to force blacks into slave labor to produce crops like rice. Settlers have freedom of religion and economic opportunities in agriculture, growing crops like rice and corn using slave labor. Colonists are encouraged to settle in South Carolina to help found the new land and go down in history.
