Songsterr is a website and mobile app that provides guitar, bass and drum tabs for over 90,000 songs. It receives around 6 million visits per month. The architecture includes tabs stored in a MySQL database with a frontend built using WebObjects (Java) and Flash. The backend is hosted on Amazon Web Services using services like S3, CloudFront, RDS and CloudWatch. The site is deployed via Jenkins and Capistrano and monitored with tools like Pingdom, CloudWatch and SiteChecker. The Songsterr team is currently looking for a frontend superhero developer.
