The document discusses the negative environmental impacts of burning fossil fuels and the need to transition to renewable and clean energy sources. It states that millions of tons of fossil fuels are burned daily, releasing thousands of tons of toxic substances into the environment which are destroying nature and causing problems like global warming and acid rain. However, solar energy is highlighted as a clean energy source that does not produce harmful byproducts or damage the natural environment. The document promotes solar energy as a sustainable solution and clean energy for Pakistan.
Green energy - The sustainable energy source of the future 01262016Tony Green
Today we primarily use fossil fuels to heat and power our homes and fuel our cars. It’s convenient to use coal, oil, and natural gas for meeting our energy needs, but we have a limited supply of these fuels on the Earth. We’re using them much more rapidly than they are being created. Eventually, they will run out.

This is a presentation about renewable energies. In which we have talked about all the advantages that hydraulic energy, solar photovoltaic energy and eolic energy have.
The Need for Sustainable Energy SolutionsMarcel Kooter
Sustainable energy solutions are forms of energy production that are renewable, unlike fossil fuels which are finite. Sustainable sources of energy include the sun, the tides and other bodies of water, the wind, and the natural heat that rises from the earth (geothermal). There are many reasons why we need to increase our use of sustainable energy and use fewer fossil fuels.
The sun is a giant nuclear reactor, a large area with a mass gas thousand times the Earth consists of helium, hydrogen and most carbon. The permanently radiating energy of the sun reaches 3 parts atmosphere as terrestrial solar radiation, the remaining 2/3 part is absorbed by the different atmospheric layers around the globe the rest hits the surface of the earth.
Renewable energy is an energy source that is very efficient for the future development of our life. This PPT will help beginners to understand this type of energy source in detail.
The final piece of D. Michael Edelstein's 3 part presentation on Ramapo College's pioneer Alternative Energy Center. Dedicated to Bill Makofske, who guided the 25 year development of the site and to the thousands of students who worked and learned there. And to achieving what we all worked for.
Renewable energy, that's what we now have to think about!! In this era where the conventional sources are getting exhausted, prices soaring up, alternate must be brought in our daily life.

Is solar energy the answer and solution to combat Climate Change.pptxIftikar2
Energy consumption is exponentially increasing over the past few years making it a challenge for many countries to meet the demand. According to the IEA, energy consumption in India has increased by 475.81% from 1990 and touched 1349.29 TWh in 2019. That is almost a 500% increase in the past 30 years.
The cause for this increase is due to the social and economic growth where energy consumption increases across different home, office and industrial applications like cooking, lighting, mobility, communication, and space comfort.
With the increase in demand and usage, there are challenges that have been brought upon the environment including rising sea levels, warming oceans, rising global temperature, carbon emissions & other harmful fume emissions.
Some of these changes have an immediate effect and are already evident. For example, glaciers have started melting, winter duration has reduced, weather patterns have changed, etc. Global warming has also resulted in the reduction of various species and even in some cases has caused extinction. This is a clear indication to bring in the change in order to sustain and survive in the future.
Some of the effects of energy production on the environment:
Air Pollution - One of the major pollutants produced by energy production is nitrogen dioxide which is emitted during the combustion of fossil fuels in the power plants and contributes to the formation of ground-level ozone and fine particulate matter. Scientific studies have even linked NO2 emissions from these power plants with negative health impacts like asthma & other respiratory illness.

1. Million of tons fossil fuels are burned every day
and thousands tons toxic and harmful substances
are exhausted into the environment. Which are
destroying nature and creating serious problem
for the existence of human life in earth, global
warming , acid rain and toxic smog all are the
products of human frustration for moderniza-
tion and development. Man is destroying
nature from many decades with out sustaina-
ble development. But it need of our to move to
ward renewable and clean energy sources.
Clean energy sources are all those sources
which doesn't produce any by-products
which are toxic and harmful to nature and
human. Solar energy is a Clean energy , it
doesn’t emit any such substance. It
doesn't create damage our natural envi-
ronment but protects it. Solar energy is a
blessing .

Solar water heater (SWH-R01) is direct loop ac-
tive type solar water heater, it is equipped with
circulation pump and a temperature controller
system which make it more cost-effective.
Economics
Solar water heater requires once capital invest-
ment and then it has very less/zero running
cost ,which made it very cost-effective. Following
table gives comparison between solar water and
conventional water heating.
Energy is vital for running
any process and one way to
get energy is Combustion, since the human dis-
covered the fire, the process of combustion is
carrying on and tons of toxic and harmful flue
gases are being thrown into the atmosphere.
With the passage of time the demand for energy
is increased and this process of combustion is
manifold thousands of times. These toxic and
harmful gases changed the natural atmosphere
and created the problem of global warming and
become cause of many diseases.
Now it is time to discover new and sustainable
energy sources that have not any bad effect on
environment. Man had realized what he had done
with nature and started research and work to find
out more sustainable and clean energy sources.
It results in the form of renewable energy which is
wind, hydroelectricity, geothermal, biofuels, bio-
mass, sunlight etc.
Sun is universal and biggest source of energy in
the universe. It delivers immense amount of ener-
gy to earth that is free and clean energy .it means
it doesn’t harm environment .This energy can be
now utilized for different purposes. Solar water
heating one of better way to utilize solar energy.it
is very cost-effective method for domestic water
heating and doesn't emit any harmful by-product
to environment.
Solar Water Heater
Solar water heating systems consist of a solar collector
and a storage tank connected by two pipes. When sun
rays fall on the solar collector they transmit their energy
to the wa-
ter in the
solar col-
l e c t o r ' s
channels
in the form
of heat
and water
becomes
hot. This water is then used according to need and de-
mand.
Solar Water Heater (SWH-R01)
Solar water heater (SWH-R01)
is designed to enhance the
efficiency of solar water heat-
er. Its special design differenti-
ate it from other solar water
heaters, Basically it has Para-
bolic reflector type collector,
with cupper tubes. which en-
hance its efficiency due to
dual effect of Parabolic shape
reflecting surface and direct
sun rays.
