Under a Title 15 Partnership Intermediary Agreement, SOFWERX brings together various partners including SOCOM, other government agencies, industry partners, academics, hackers and makers to accelerate delivery of innovative capabilities to USSOCOM. SOFWERX creates a platform to facilitate capability refinement through exploration, experimentation and assessment of promising technologies. The charter is to help solve challenging warfighter problems through increased collaboration and innovation using flexible, non-FAR business methodologies and a non-traditional ecosystem of around 40,000 partners.
