4. Does treatment for HIV vary by social class and race? Does society have a different view toward a 25-year-old homosexual with AIDS and a three-year-old toddler with AIDS?

5. Has the recent boom in cell phones and texting affected communication in American families? Does the American society’s instant gratification mindset come from the convenience of cell phones and modern technology?

6. What is the relationship between the television shows children watch and their attitude toward parents, schooling and friends? Has society handed over it’s responsibility of teaching children to computers and televisions?

7. Does society expect less from someone raised in poverty than someone raised in the upper-middle class? Does social class and ethnicity impact how a citizen is treated if arrested and put in jail?

8. How does the music teens listen to and the shows they watch on television impact the way they act? Has “Hollywood” influenced young adults to act and dress older than their age?

9. Does the salary and the economic status of a student’s family affect the amount of schooling that student completes? Has society’s standards of having at least a high school diploma to receive a job affected the drop out rate of high schools in America?

10. Have the advancements in gaming systems affected the rate of obesity in the American society? Is there a relationship between the amount of violence in American schools and the amount of video games a child plays?

11. How has the recent discovery of social networks online such as Myspace or Facebook begun to change the way parents monitor computer use? Has internet bullying become a bigger issue in teen lives since the making of different social networks?
