The rule of thumb on Linked In is to actually have a presence on site. You need to be active on site by posting available jobs or sharing anything about your company.
The simplest way to find people is by typing keywords in the search box. It will show you profiles matching your searches.
Other way of sourcing candidates through Linked in is by using the Advanced search tools, recruiters can find members matching their specific key words according to different categories that you want to search.
You may reach out to those members by sending a request to connect.
What I always do is I select “FRIEND” so it will automatically send the invitation and you would not require further information before sending the connection request.
Recruiters also often join industry based groups on LinkedIn to create connections with professionals in that line of business or industry that you want to explore with.
LinkedIn has a paid product called Talent Solutions. Click “Business Services” then it will show you variety of products. Then click Talent Solutions and you will be directed to this page.

Another option is to post Facebook Ad if you’re aren’t getting results from searching. One of the advantage of Facebook Ad is the laser targeting ability. With this you can choose the exact audience that you are looking to target.
