This document provides instructions for a social media analytics assignment. Students are asked to identify relevant analytic tools for each social media platform that will provide detailed insights, and to determine what specific analytics would be meaningful for evaluating their social media strategies on each platform. The assignment encourages students to consider tools they have used before or find ones suitable for their needs.

1. Social Media Analytics Assignment
There are many, many tools that you can use to measure how well you are doing. I have
presented a few, but there are others – feel free to look for ones that make sense to you, or use
ones that you have used in internships.
1) For each platform, please identify a relevant tool (you may have one one-size fits all, but
be sure that it provides enough detail)
2) For each platform, identify what the “meaningful” analytics are for you specific
strategies
