Smart Homes – Where are we now?
Currently, less than 1% of homes employ full smart home
technology.
The market is growing rapidly. This growth is driven, in part,
by the rising tablet market.
By 2018 according to HIS Technology, a research firm,
predicts that 45 million smart home devices will have
been installed.
Source: http://www.entrepreneurialinsights.com/smarthomeintelligenthomeautomation/
While the smart home market of the present is fragmented
and small, and faces many challenges to widespread
adoption, the smart home market is growing, in
functionality, sales, and expectations. Its future looks
bright.

Last Month’s Grey Water Presentation

The Story
Garry Sato had the idea of turning “showers into
flowers” or diverting reusable greywater when –
ironically enough -- he was taking a shower.
Since 2010, residential construction in Tucson,
Arizona has been mandated by law to install
greywater-ready systems with new homes.
On the books to become law in California in 2018.
Yet ironically enough, no legal diverter has
existed until 2015. Before March 2015, when the
first residential greywater diverter was finally
certified.

The Story (Continued)
The International Association of
Plumbing and Mechanical Officials
(IAPMO) awarded its difficult-to-
earn universal plumbing code
(UPC) certification to create the
very first legal way for
homeowners to reuse greywater, for
the remote-controlled GreenSmart
Greywater Diverter

Through the Air with ease
RF Image
 Before turning on the water to warm, or draining a bathtub, a push of the GreenSmart
button robotically moves the ball valve to close off the pipe to the sewer and open a one
that goes to the garden.
 If one uses a undesirable material while in the shower, another quick push of the button
sends that water to the sewer.

Why is this valve unique?
Used in Real Time
Easy to Use
The Only Diverter that meets
IAPMO Standards
Fail Safe
Conserves Time & Resources
