Samurai were Japanese warriors who commonly fought as bodyguards for their masters and followed a warrior code called Bushido that demanded loyalty, obedience, duty, self-sacrifice and honor until death. They had weapons like the Katana sword and light but effective armor that gave them advantages in battle.
