Griff Bigfoot has built a cabin in Verde Valley near the mountains. He plants a garden to grow vegetables and meets his neighbor Babs, a foxhound. Griff takes in an adopted daughter, Jessica, showing her around the cabin and garden. He plans to open a small veggie stand to serve the local community.

2. Welcome back to Silver Bend! We’re with
Griff Bigfoot who is a popularity sim with a
want to be a celebrity chef. He moved out of
Keika’s house earlier in the rotation. He
hiked all the way into Verde Valley.

3. He built himself a nice little cabin near the
extended Pokemon family. He wanted the
mountains, but he had gotten used to having
people around him.

4. First thing he did was plant his first crop.
Hiking back down to Silver Bend for groceries
was silly. Plus maybe he could grow some
extra for Keika and the kids.

5. Speaking of Keika, he needed to call her.
“Griff!!! Did you find a place?” She said
excitedly.
“I built a cabin, you’ll have to bring the kids
out. How’s Firekeeper?”
“She’s good, She’s learning to talk. Of
course she mostly just screams no.”

6. Some neighbors came by to say hi. Even
Ambi Diem came all the way from the main
neighborhood.

7. Griff whipped up some fresh garden salads to
feed everyone.

8. They spent the rest of the evening fishing.
“Griff, come by the rest of us!” Mel called.
“I’m okay, the fish are really biting over
here.”
“Suit yourself!”

9. Over all he thought it was pretty successful.

10. Bugs were invading his garden. He didn’t
want to lock his plants up in a greenhouse,
so he would just have to deal with the bugs.
Luckily his plants were hardy.

11. He needed a source of more steady income.
It wasn’t like living off the grid anymore. He
had gotten used to having things like a phone
and electricity. Which meant bills to pay. But
he didn’t really see anything that interested
him right away.

12. A foxhound named Babs had been hanging
around. She and Griff quickly made friends.

13. Soon Babs decided to stay around for good,
she had a fluffy bed and chewy toys to play
with.

14. The garden was flourishing. Griff couldn’t
wait to taste his own home grown food.

15. Oranges were the first to blossom. Giant
mouthwatering fruit on every branch.

16. He added orange slices to his salad that
night.

17. Babs loved rolling in puddles and digging
holes. She was starting smell a little ripe.
Griff normally wasn’t one to complain, but
she was really pungent. So he broke down
and gave her a bath.

18. The lemons were ready next. His salad
dressing was going to be kicked up a notch
now.

19. Some of the vegetables were ripening too.
He decided to make the garden a little
bigger.

20. He also did a little digging and found a
treasure chest!

21. The house felt empty without any children.
Now that he had some savings, maybe
Firekeeper would like having another sister.

22. “We’re here.” The social worker said.
“Where’s here?” Jessica asked.

23. “Verde Valley, your new home.”
“New home?” Jessica gasped, “Not a foster
parent?”
“Nope, you were adopted.”

24. “Hi Jessica, I’m Griff.”
“Will you watch movies with me? My foster
parents didn’t even have a TV.”
“Sounds like it would be fun.” Griff smiled.

25. He had to make some modifications to the
cabin. Jessica would need her own room.

26. He got a TV so they could watch movies
together.

27. He even was able to afford a small dining
room table.

28. “Let me show you the garden.” Griff said.
“You plant all of these?” Jessica looked
around wide eyed.
“Yes, in a few days they’ll ready to harvest
and we’ll have fresh veggies to eat.”
“This is really neat.”

32. Fourth update, only six more to
go! Griff is so sweet, I can’t wait
for Firekeeper and Jessica to meet.
Of course, Firekeeper will have to
grow up first. I think Griff will

veggie stand in Verde Valley. So
the Valley residents don’t have to
travel all the way to the main
neighborhood for groceries.
