· Summary:
Traffic studies of the project area that located in city of Santee and the impact by on the Cuyamaca street and Buena vista Avenue. This study will help us to know the situation of the area for cars movement and average daily traffic. Also we are going to research about the traffic volume around the project site and to know the level of service. Since there are residents next to the project location, by knowing this information we can try to avoid making some delaying for the community residents and to specify a time for our workers to get the stuff they need perfectly with no delay and effect on collecting time. So that will help us also to finish our project within a good time and without any complicating.
· Project location & Intersection Analysis:
The project area is located on the southeast corner of the intersection signal for Cuyamaca street (North-South) and Buena Vista Avenue (West-East). Ctiy of santee afford a street parking on Buena Vista avenue which is on the north side of the site and that may affect on the traffic movement on Buena vista avenue east. There is a bus station on the west side were the project located and there is a trolley road on Cuyamaca street. Buena Vista Avenue is with one lane for each way while the Cuyamaca street has 3 lanes for the each way. Project site located on the north side of the 52 HWY and visitors can use the way out from the highway to the location and in from the same way to the highway. So, on the south side of the project location there is an access from and to the 52 HWY to the Cuyamaca street. The back peak and a head beak per hour of 52 and Cuyamaca Street is 7600-7000 in year 2016 according to Caltrans.
In the initial site layout I would recommend to put a one-way sign leading to east on Buena Vista on the North entrance for people who leaving the location and slide it around 100’ to the west so there wont be a hard traffic movement around the facility location. The second thing is to use the west parking access just by people who leaving the location because using .To calculate the flow rate of the street we can use:
- Parking design:
The project location need a parking design as in initial site layout there are 3 access to the facility one from the west side of the project location which is from Cuyamaca street and two from the north side from Buena Vista Avenue. The peak per hour is needed to be 5:1 and we assume the facility will be busy during the week days from 0800 am till 0730 pm. Street parking is allowed from the city of Santee from the north side of the project location which is on Buena Vista Avenue. The information about the ability of the parking size is given already from the client and it was around 400 cars in total. To design the parking we have to follow the information was giving in county of San Diego manual and we need to follow all instructions in Parking Design Manual. Sine our project ...

· Summary:
Traffic studies of the project area that located in city of Santee and the impact by on the Cuyamaca street and Buena vista Avenue. This study will help us to know the situation of the area for cars movement and average daily traffic. Also we are going to research about the traffic volume around the project site and to know the level of service. Since there are residents next to the project location, by knowing this information we can try to avoid making some delaying for the community residents and to specify a time for our workers to get the stuff they need perfectly with no delay and effect on collecting time. So that will help us also to finish our project within a good time and without any complicating.
· Project location & Intersection Analysis:
The project area is located on the southeast corner of the intersection signal for Cuyamaca street (North-South) and Buena Vista Avenue (West-East). Ctiy of santee afford a street parking on Buena Vista avenue which is on the north side of the site and that may affect on the traffic movement on Buena vista avenue east. There is a bus station on the west side were the project located and there is a trolley road on Cuyamaca street. Buena Vista Avenue is with one lane for each way while the Cuyamaca street has 3 lanes for the each way. Project site located on the north side of the 52 HWY and visitors can use the way out from the highway to the location and in from the same way to the highway. So, on the south side of the project location there is an access from and to the 52 HWY to the Cuyamaca street. The back peak and a head beak per hour of 52 and Cuyamaca Street is 7600-7000 in year 2016 according to Caltrans.
In the initial site layout I would recommend to put a one-way sign leading to east on Buena Vista on the North entrance for people who leaving the location and slide it around 100’ to the west so there wont be a hard traffic movement around the facility location. The second thing is to use the west parking access just by people who leaving the location because using .To calculate the flow rate of the street we can use:
- Parking design:
The project location need a parking design as in initial site layout there are 3 access to the facility one from the west side of the project location which is from Cuyamaca street and two from the north side from Buena Vista Avenue. The peak per hour is needed to be 5:1 and we assume the facility will be busy during the week days from 0800 am till 0730 pm. Street parking is allowed from the city of Santee from the north side of the project location which is on Buena Vista Avenue. The information about the ability of the parking size is given already from the client and it was around 400 cars in total. To design the parking we have to follow the information was giving in county of San Diego manual and we need to follow all instructions in Parking Design Manual. Sine our project ...
