3. The Dream
India is a place where one can find a lot of variety, diversity. Be it extreme climates,
different geographies, different cultures, different flora and fauna, all co exist. Some
are famous for their beauty, some for their weather, some for culture and the list is
unending.
Since long, I have dreamt of exploring this diverse country. Now, I want to live out
this dream through Godrej LOUD.

4. However, I have shortlisted 6 places I would like to visit to live out my
dream.
These include places known for fun, beauty and uniqueness. Two of
them are not very popularly known but are very unique.
I have taken into consideration that I have to manage my college side
by side and I have to fulfil this dream in the next 1 year.
I would like to travel by air most of the time as it saves a lot of time
and fatigue, amking travel more enjoyable.
Moreover, during these trips, I would like to stay in good hotels, some
of them may be expensive as well.
Since I am cutting short on the number of places, I would like to live
out loud, and try to travel like a king.

6. Dilwaalon ki dilli
It has a variety of monuments, some of the most
expensive malls, great hotels and places with great
street food.
Though I have been to most of the popular places in
Delhi, I would like to visit 2 places in particular-
Agrasen ki Baoli and Toilet musem.
Reasons:
None of these places are really popular but still these
places are one of their own kind and I am yet to visit
them.
Even many Delhiites are unaware of these places!

7. Agrasen ki Baoli
Agrasen ki Baoli (also known as Agar Sain ki Baoli or Ugrasen ki Baoli),
designated a protected monument by the Archaeological Survey of
India(ASI) under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and
Remains Act of 1958, is a 60-meter long and 15-meter wide historical step
well on Hailey Road near Connaught Place.
Baoli or bawdi, also referred to
as baori or bauri, is a Hindi
word (from Sanskrit wapi or
vapi, vapika).
Water temples and temple
step wells were built in ancient
India and the earliest forms of
step well and reservoir were
also built in India in places like
Dholavira as far back as the
Indus Valley Civilisation.
Amazing, still unknown!

8. Toilet Museum
Ever wondered what a museum dedicated entirely to the history of toilets would be
like ?
Yes, there’s one in Delhi!

9. The Rann of Kutch
The Rann of Kutch, also known as the Great Rann of Kutch (there's a
Little Rann of Kutch as well), is a remarkable place to visit in Gujarat. It's
the world's largest salt desert, measuring over 16,000 square
kilometers. What makes it even more amazing is that it's underwater
during the main monsoon season in India. For the remaining eight
months of the year, it's an enormous stretch of packed white salt.

Goa, is one place which is synonymous
with fun. It has exotic beaches, ancient
churches and lots more where one can
hang out and … Just have fun!

12. Scenic beauty and New Cuisines
•Kanyakumari, Tamilnadu
Kumarakom, Kerala
These two places are famous for their scenic beauty. Plus, south India has a
cuisine entirely different from the northern part of the country where I
come from. Here, I would also like to try out the different cuisines of
South India such as Pongal and Talpakatti Biryani.
I would like to try out this cuisine in its original style!
After all, nothing beats the original, however good the copy may be!

13. Kanyakumari
Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of the Indian mainland.
Amidst the sea there are two rocks known as ‘twin rocks’ both contributing to the
rich Indian heritage with the monuments of swamy Vivekananda and Saint
Thiruvalluvar.
Here, the Indian Ocean, The Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea merge. The sunrise
and sunset view here is also nothing less than amazing.
Kumarakom
Kumarakom, Kerala is famous for its natural beauty and for the backwaters.

1. Travel: Pune-Delhi Cost: Rs. 6000 approx.
2. Stay in Delhi: Free, as I can stay at my home in Faridabad.
3. Trip to Jaisalmer from Delhi: Assuming I go by road, it will cost
approximately Rs. 8000 (round trip)
4. Stay in Jaisalmer plus desert safari: Rs. 7000 approx.
5. Delhi-Pune: Approx Rs.6000
6. Pune-Goa: Approx Rs. 4500
7. Stay in Goa and local sightseeing: Approx. Rs. 25000 ( I’ll stay in a 5
star hotel in Goa).
8. Goa-Trivandrum: Approx. Rs. 4000
9. Trivandrum stay and transport: Approx. Rs 10000
10. Trivandrum-Pune: Approx. 6000
11. Pune-Cochin –Pune: Approx. Rs. 10000
12. Stay and local sightseeing in Kumarakom: Rs. 8000
