3. WHATMAKESATRANSGENDER
• A person intentionally does not change the gender or by choice that he or she wants to live identi
fi
ed
opposite sex for rest of their life. This is ensured by the Psychiatrists who would recommend their patient
towards endocrinologist and before hormone replacement therapy.
• Exact causes of Gender Dysphoria is still unclear to the world.
• It is also not certain when the Gender Dysphoria comes out in any human being and time line that takes are
not certain. However, an urge lies in a human being right from the childhood or as gender crisis and often
this is ignored or forgotten due to external sociological factors or living conditions.
• Studies that are continuously on on these areas indicate di
ff
erent causes for di
ff
erent transgender persons
who come out an actual reason behind. They are mostly psychological and biological casualty that are
noted. Gender identity disorder which could mainly coming from the Psychological drive. Some may have
clinical issues that drive them into shifting as transgenders.
• World of doctors and scientists indicate also that Gender Dysphoria arrives due to genetic causes of
biological sex in the mother’s womb
• Other studies also show that gender identity issues can arise due to chromosomal abnormalities or it could
be due to any issues towards normal human and child bonding
• Treatment today it is available towards changing to desired sex and it is not advised to remain in the same
gender assigned at the time of birth.

5. HOWSOCIETYHUMILIATES?
Almost every transgender faces this problem, but over a period of time learns to handle situations well
Gender assigned at birth of a person in public potentially causes following transphobic behaviors -
• Question I even encounter many times - “Are you operated?”
• One step further irritating - question like explain me your private sex life, way you operate etc.,
• Fetishizing trans people — for example, watching pornography featuring trans people in private
while denying their rights in public
• Acting as an expert on someone else’s gender identity
• Not addressing with correct gender salutation and or never calling someone by their new name
• Making comments like, “You don’t look like a real man (or woman)”
• Physical abuse or mental harassment
• Lifethreat and public shame
• Religious, social gathering and other isolations
• Pop Culture
• Bathroom Discrimination
• Restrictions in Sports
• Restrictions in Public places
• Denial of Education
• Described under slide 1, problems such as physical abuse, verbal abuse, family and friends isolating,
job issues, and public shame can easily appear any time
• Denial of medical treatment as they are on hormones and other psychiatry treatments, most of the
doctors worldwide do not attempt to save precious lives.

6. HEALTHPROBLEMS FROM
HUMILIATION?
• Worldwide statistics show over 50% of transgenders end their life abruptly. Studies further show it
is due to gender dysphoria or transphobia contributing to this situation
• Worldwide statistics can show up a typical life span for a normal male or female using worldwide
demographics, but no experts can answer the question - what is a normal life expectation of a
“TRANSGENDER” ?
• Transphobia demonstrated by the society makes Transgender people completely feel isolated,
exhausted, and hopeless.
• Systemic transphobia can have life threatening consequences.
• Color of the skin plays a very dominant role in even further creates trouble and what society
expects ?
• Other potential problems of discrimination include:
• anxiety
• chronic stress
• depression
• thoughts of suicide
• post traumatic stress

8. TRANS-HOWTOPROTECTFROM
HUMILIATION?
• Main idea is to reach back home safe without complications.
• Never get into arguments or educating someone. This can only cause abuses or humiliation or
extremely foul talks. It is useful to ensure there is no life threat and exit the place without issues
• Document what is happening with video or writing if possible
• Collect evidences to obtain help and punishment for o
ff
ender or the other side humiliating person,
so it can be reached to government authorities for further action
• Dressing appropriately, presenting to the world in correct way while addressing or speaking or at
least one is harmless and never provoke other binary crowd that could bring problems
• Try to remain friendly, clarify to those whom you
fi
nd sensible or want to learn from you, make
friends for your health bene
fi
ts. A smile can do a lot of change in transgender mental health.
• Certain bodily abnormalities cannot be changed to match desired gender of change at times, as the
transgender has been earlier a binary person, where the hormones have played a very vital role in
shaping their body, voice and mind. Transgender must try to learn to
fi
nd adjustments for life and
play smart to appear better to the society.
• Awareness is what one can bring to the binary crowd who can at least present friendly. If it is not
possible, it is better to ignore the crowd who do not know anything.

• Please always use gender inclusive languages like for example - you folks and never disrespect
• Do never make transphobic jokes or comments or humiliate someone. They are also human beings.
