This document lists the names of numerous Shinto kami or spirits. Some of the major ones mentioned include Izanagi and Izanami, who were considered the first gods in Japanese mythology and the parents of many other kami. Their children include Amaterasu, the sun goddess, Tsukuyomi, the moon god, and Susanoo, the storm god. Other important kami referenced are Inari, the rice god; Hachiman, the god of war; and Raijin and Fujin, the gods of thunder and wind respectively. The list also includes many lesser regional kami.
