J: Are you still at Bart’s then?
M: Teaching now, uh-huh. Bright young things, like we used to be. God, I hate
them. What about you? Just staying in town? Are you getting yourself sorted?
J: I can't afford London on an army pension.
M: Ah, and you couldn't bear to be anywhere else. That's not the John Watson I
know.
J: Yeah, I'm not the John Watson.
M: Couldn't Harry help?
J: Yeah, like that's gonna happen.
M: I don't know, get a flatshare or something.
J: Come on, who'd want me for a flat mate? […] What?
M: You're the second person to say that to me today?
J: Who was the first?](https://image.slidesharecdn.com/sherlocktranscriptwithhighlighting-190721191232/75/Sherlock-transcript-with-highlighting-1-2048.jpg)
Sherlock Holmes meets John Watson in the park. Sherlock notes that John has returned to London but cannot afford to live there on an army pension alone. He suggests John get a flatshare to help afford living in the city. When John doubts anyone would want him as a flatmate, Sherlock reveals someone else had said the same thing to him earlier that day.
