Soldier and Civilian Responsibility
Every Soldier and DA civilian is responsible
for the prevention of sexual harassment.
Peers, subordinates, and supervisors must
never tolerate, condone, or ignore sexual
harassment or sexual assault. Every Soldier
must have the personal courage to Inter-
vene, Act, and Motivate others to take ac-
tion when needed. Every Soldier who is
aware of a sexual assault should immedi-
ately report incidents.

2. Baseline Certification
The SHARP Baseline Course is a seven-week com-
prehensive education for Army SARCs and VAs.
Graduates are awarded the SHARP Baseline Certi-
fication, and are prepared to serve their Soldiers
and organizations with effective, sensitive, and
confidential care for victims of sexual assault.

Train-the-Trainer Certification
The SHARP Train-The-Trainer Certification is an
additional five-weeks involving a thorough
study of SHARP Course Material and the Foun-
dation Instructor Facilitator Course Level I train-
ing. Upon completion, students expertly
demonstrate proficiency in SHARP training ma-
terials; managing training facilities and stu-
dents; the ability to facilitate learning activities;
establish remedial training procedures; evalu-
ate course material; and coordinate with Com-
mands to schedule classes. Graduates are
awarded SHARP Trainer Certification and FIFC
Level I certification.
