The Board of Directors of HMR Philippines has appointed Sharlene Carman Powell as the new CEO effective January 2019. She takes over the role from her father who founded HMR Philippines over 40 years ago. Under her leadership, the company has grown from a heavy metals recycling business into a successful conglomerate with businesses in various sectors. As the new CEO, Sharlene aims to further expand the company and establish Southeast Asia's first full-cycle reverse logistics facility to capitalize on the growth of redundant assets in Asia.

Sharlene Carman Powell is a second-generation entrepreneur and will take up the role from her father
Randell Carman, who founded HMR Philippines after retiring from the military over 40 years ago.
