Upon death, the body is prepared according to tradition by being washed and dressed in clean white cloth. For Hindus and Sikhs, the body is cremated or buried as soon as possible. The funeral involves prayers, last rites performed by family, and the body being placed on a pyre or in the ground. There is a period of mourning observed, with rituals and remembrance of the deceased taking place over subsequent days and years. For Zoroastrians, the body is taken to the Tower of Silence to be exposed to vultures, with the bones later placed in a pit. Ritual purity is important, and mourners are meant to wash before returning home.
This document provides an introduction to sharks, discussing what they are, where they live, what they eat, their anatomy, different types of sharks, a video of sharks, and some fun facts. Sharks have cartilage skeletons instead of bones and can be found in every ocean as well as some rivers and lakes. They prey on fish, rays, seals, and other marine animals. The document outlines several types of sharks and includes a diagram of a shark's anatomy. It concludes with some interesting shark facts, such as that the Swell Shark barks and shark skin can be used to make durable leather goods.
Sharks come in many types and sizes, from the giant whale shark that can weigh as much as three elephants to the tiny dwarf shark that fits in the palm of a hand. They have rows of replaceable teeth, can breathe underwater without surfacing like dolphins and whales, and their diets consist of fish, penguins, and other marine creatures. While sharks do not usually attack people, it is best to avoid swimming in waters where sharks have been spotted due to the potential danger posed by sharks like the great white that has over 50 sharp teeth.
Class Chondrichthyes includes sharks, skates, and rays that have inhabited Earth for 280 million years. They are characterized by cartilage instead of bone and range in size from whale sharks over 60 feet long to smaller species. Sharks have streamlined bodies, denticles, and various adaptations for sensing prey and maintaining buoyancy. While some species prey on fish and marine mammals, others feed on plankton or scavenge. Shark attacks are rare with few species posing a danger to humans.
Sharks are an ancient species of fish that have existed since before dinosaurs. They live in oceans worldwide and come in a variety of sizes, from the smallest only a few inches long to the largest whale shark which can reach 50 feet. Great white sharks are one of the largest predatory sharks and have specialized abilities like a powerful bite and ability to swim quickly. While they can attack humans, scientists believe great whites often mistake people for their normal prey of seals and do not typically view humans as food.

Mi segue ovunque vada, e così fa scappare tutti i pesci. No so più cosa fare." E’ difficile sbarazzarsi di uno squalo lungo 5 metri; non tanto perché gli squali bianchi sono una specie protetta, ma per via dell’amore reciproco nato tra Arnold e “Cindy”. Arnold dice: “Quando fermo la barca, lei viene da me, si gira sul dorso e lascia che io le accarezzi la pancia e il collo, grugnisce, gira gli occhi, e muove le pinne su e giù sbattendole in acqua felice...” INCREDIBILE!!!
