Square Nail

Squoval Nail
Pointed Nail
SHAPES OF NAILS
•Oval Nail
-common among people with
long, perfect nail beds. It may be
styles slightly rounded at the base
and slightly pointed at the
fingertips.
•Square Nail
- created by allowing the nail to
grow out straight and then filing
the tip straight across at the right
angles with the rest of the nail
plate.
Round Nail
- ideal for shorter nails.
- ideal to grow out at the sides
by approx. 1.5mm and then
the tip is filed into a rounded
shape.
-strong shape which is straight
for those who keep their nails
short.
•Squoval Nail
- is conservation square with
the length of a square nail
but the softer edges of an
oval.
• Pointed Nail
-is filed away at the sides to a point
at the shape
- is very weak as the sides of the
nails(which provide the strength
tip-thesis ) are totally lost.
