4. Acts 8:1, 3
1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And
at that time there was a great persecution
against the church which was at Jerusalem; and
they were all scattered abroad throughout the
regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the
apostles.
2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial,
3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church,
entering into every house, and haling men and
women committed them to prison.
5. Acts 9:1-2
1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings
and slaughter against the disciples of the
Lord, went unto the high priest,
2 And desired of him letters to Damascus
to the synagogues, that if he found any of
this way, whether they were men or
women, he might bring them bound unto
Jerusalem.
7. • We must forget the sins of the past.
• We must forget the good that we
have done.
8. 2 Corinthians 11:23-28
…in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons
more frequent, in deaths oft.
24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.
25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I
suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;
26 In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in
perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in
the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils
among false brethren;
27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and
thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
28 Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me
daily, the care of all the churches.
9. Luke 17:10
10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have
done all those things which are
commanded you, say, We are unprofitable
servants: we have done that which was
our duty to do.
10. • We must forget the sins of the past.
• We must forget the good that we
have done.
• We must remember to reach forward.
