This document provides announcements for seniors, students in grades 10-12, and notices about upcoming events at the school including a summer college tour, Power Week fundraising event, and new CSI forensic science class. Seniors are reminded to ensure financial aid forms are submitted and update their family connection profiles. The Hawaii Future Dentists Symposium for grades 10-12 will be tomorrow and spots can be reserved with Mr. Fong. See Mr. Fong or the development office for information on participating in Power Week fundraising or sign up by today for the limited space CSI forensic science class.

3. SENIORS:
 Make sure your parents/guardians are filling out
the FAFSA. Financial aid deadlines for colleges
vary.
 It is your responsibility to know the deadlines
and if additional forms such as the College
Scholarship Service Profile needs to be
submitted.

4. SENIORS:
 Update your Family Connections page,
including matching your Family Connections
Connections page with the Common
Application
 Officially request on Family Connections to
send your transcripts to the colleges you are
are applying to.

5. STUDENTS IN GRADES 10-12:
 The Hawaii Future Dentists Symposium will be
held tomorrow. This symposium will feature a
discussion by several of Hawaii’s foremost
dental specialists who will discuss the joys and

6. SUMMER COLLEGE TOUR:
 See Mr. Fong for flyers on the summer college
tour to San Francisco and the Bay area. The
tour includes 12 colleges in 5 days. We will also
visit the Great America Amusement Park.

7. POWER WEEK:
 Participate in our school’s first Power Week! Dress
down for a whole week, win raffles, food and a party
for the class with the highest participation!
 Deadline to sign-up is TODAY. Ask your homeroom
teacher for a flyer or stop by the Development
Office (A-213) anytime! Join the whole school
community for a fantastic time and to give back to
Sacred Hearts Academy.

8. CSI SHA:
 A new after school class for students in grades 9-11
will be starting soon. Work with the FBI to learn
about forensics and crime scene detection. You
must be available on Thursday afternoons from 3 to
4pm. The class is free of charge. See Mrs.
Normand by TODAY for details and to pick-up an
application—Space is limited so act NOW!
