Nobody likes Sexual Transmitted Infections (STI’s), but unfortunately they remain a big

problem in our society. There are many STI’s. Some are curable and some are not. Some may

have more serious consequences on someone’s health and fertility. Research shows that young

adults are at a greater risk of contracting and spreading STI’s. To better educate this age group

about the danger of STI’s a lot has been done by the government either by web education,

printed materials, or mandatory reporting of STI’s to individual states by health care facilities. In

addition to the information that exists from different sources, this paper will introduce an

educational tool for STI’s witch targets the age group of 18-25 year-olds male and female in a

community health center in Boston. The desired outcome of this intervention is to reduce the

number of young adults from this age group from contracting and re-contracting STI’s and also

provide awareness with the health risks associated with STI’s.
