The Ambre Lee Dubnoff Center operates a 100-meter wide radio dish located in West Virginia to search for signals from intelligent extraterrestrial life as part of the SETI (Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence) project. The large radio dish is used to detect radio signals from space that could indicate contact with technological civilizations beyond Earth. The goal of the SETI project is to listen for electromagnetic transmissions that may have been produced by technologies of extraterrestrial intelligent life.
