The document describes Batyline Aw, an acoustic panel material that provides 65% sound absorption. It is light, flexible, easy to handle and install. Editor's Notes
- Tensionned ceiling are one of the traditional application of BATYLINE and mainly in humid environments like swimming pools were this porduct is particularly resistant to humidity and moisture.
- Tensionned ceiling are also often installed in public building, big halls, theaters, cinemas, ....
- Velums can be an alternative to tensionned ceilings. The product is not tensionned and simply hanged. This simplifiy the system and confection that are minimized. In this project the velum is retractable to keep access to the roof but it can be built static or retractable.
- Some smaller tensionned ceiling are also installed in restaurants, …
- Baffles can also be a good solutions to absorb the sound and protect against solar rays.
- Here is presented an original type of baffles. System and confection are minimized. Acoustic + solar protection.
- Suspended panels is an anoter way to solve reverberation. The dimension of the panels can be adapted to the project.
- Supended canopies – various design are possible.
- Acoustic can be treated not only on ceiling but also on the wall. The high resistance of this prodcut to abrasion and impact make it partiucularly adapetd for walls and curtains.
- Static wall curtain. Easy and fast installation. Economic solution because system is minimized. Simply hanged with one profil at top and bottom.
- Static curtains in humid atmosphere. Ideal product for sports halls and swiming pools.
- Movable curtains is a way to solve acoutsic reverberation.
- Batyline Aw can be printed with a very good finla aspect. (see samples availables)
- Batyline Aw can aslo be used as an inner layer in tensile membrane roofs structures. In this project BATYLINE Aw White (Tv 7%) is tensionned under a PRECONTRAINT 1202 S2. Project : NETBALL CENTER in NZ (BAYTEX).
- While most of acoustic absorbant are opak, this BATYLINE highly translucent product offer a unique combination of 65% sound Absorption and 41% light transmission. This product offer the opportunity to both absorb the sound and keep the natural light benefits through window and glass roof.
- The Highly translucent version of BATYLINE Aw is unique solution to provide both sound absorption and light transmission under glass roofs. It’s also a good solar protection.
- Possible to make translucent curtains in front of windows. Easy to install, relatively cheap solution;
- BATYLINE Aw higly translucent can be used in combination with lightings. The light rays shall be oriented parallel to the membrane to avoid seeing the light spot through the product.
- Static curtains covering walls. System and confection are minimized.
