•Interdisciplinary Pain Management Center opens for
  Active Duty Service Members

 The IPMC manages Active Duty Soldiers who are on four or more
medications. The IPMC staff reviews a monthly poly-pharmacy report for
the Division, MEDDAC, DENTAC, and 3-85 WTU. Patients are then
called in and screened against their current medication and either
manage their pain here or at Fort Bragg. Fort Bragg stood up one of the
   first IPMC’s in the Army

 Initially, the center will only see Active Duty Soldiers. Once the
provider feels comfortable that he has managed the Poly-Pharmacy list,
the center will open for referrals and then to beneficiaries

Some short-term goals for the center are to bring acupuncture and
possibly massage therapy as two means of managing pain
