This document discusses an experiment for students to explore different senses of scale. Students are asked to take photos in their groups that show scale through perspective - making something normally small appear large, or something normally large appear small, without using photo editing software. Taking photos from different angles can help show how size is perceived differently based on the object or creature it is compared to.

• Experiment in your groups with different sense of scale
• How do you know if something is big or small? An
elephant might look tiny next to a skyscraper and a
mouse could be huge if you happen to be a flea.Take a
photo of something showing big or small. You don't
need to have something big and small in the same
photo but it's even better if you can. Have fun playing
with perspective and see if you can make something
that normally looks tiny appear huge - no photoshop
trickery please!
