CAP AND GOWN DELIVERY
Caps and gowns from previous years are not permitted.
Caps & Gowns will be delivered on Wednesday, April 29th and
Thursday, April 30th (5:00-8:00). They will be located in the Old
Gym for pick up after completion of your Senior Boards.
REMINDER: If you have not ordered your cap and gown, go to
http://www.herffatlanta.com/. All orders and payments must be paid
through the website link.

 All Official Transcripts must be received by Tues, May 19th.
Students in APEX courses must complete coursework and
submit paperwork by Wednesday, May 20th.
ATTENDANCE APPEALS
 Attendance Appeals are automatically
generated.
 Students will be notified of the time(s) and dates
of make up hours which they must serve in order
to be awarded credit.
 Students must have the appropriate 23 credits
(posted to the transcript) in order to participate
in graduation ceremony.

 After Senior Breakfast, seniors will report to the New Gym for
practice. Students will be cleared to participate in graduation
exercises or be advised of any outstanding debts or obligations.
 May 27th - 9:00am Graduation Practice in the New Gym.
 May 29th - 8:30am Graduation Practice at First Baptist Church of
Woodstock (FBCW)
GRADUATION PRACTICE
GUIDELINES
 All school rules apply to graduation practice and graduation
exercises.
 Casual (modest) dress is acceptable. (NO halter tops, short
shorts/skirts, swimsuits, offensive t-shirts etc.) Students who are not
appropriately dressed will be sent home.
 In order to participate in graduation exercises on Saturday,
May 30th, graduates must attend EACH practice session in its
entirety.
 Seniors are not allowed to enter the school building without
permission after practices have concluded.
OUTSTANDING DEBTS &
OBLIGATIONS
• All debts, obligations, detentions and work back should be
cleared by Wednesday, May 20th at 12:00pm.
• Debts need to be paid to Michelle Stephens in the front office.

GRADUATION 2015
The Etowah High School Graduation Ceremony will be Saturday, May
30th at 9:00 am. Graduates are required to be there at 7:30 am.
Graduation attire:
 Male: White collared shirts, dark dress pants, dark dress socks, dark
dress shoes*.
 Female: Dresses (no longer than the graduation gown), or dark
pants, and dark dress shoes*.
*Athletic shoes are not considered dress shoes.
Do NOT paint, glitter, or draw on graduation caps.
Only students who are dressed appropriately will participate in the
ceremony.
POST GRADUATION
RENTAL GOWN RETURN & DIPLOMA DISTRIBUTION
 Turn in your gown at Etowah High School, New Gym ticket booth during
the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday, June 1st.
 When your gown is received, you will be given your diploma. If someone
other than you or your parent will be returning your rental gown, email
Dr. Ruiz (amanda.ruiz@cherokee.k12.ga.us) informing her of who you
designate to pick up your diploma. They must provide a photo ID.
 There will be a $200 fee for any gown that is damaged or not returned.
Your diploma will be held until payment is made or gown is returned.
NO RETURNED GOWN = NO DIPLOMA
