The “SeaScapes” theme was considered to be any art with the subjects being scenes of coastal living, any ocean activities, seaside vistas and any related seashore subjects for inclusion into this art exhibition.
This art competition and the submission process and competition for the artists began in July 2014 and concluded on August 27, 2014. The gallery received 647 entries from 19 different countries from around the world, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery (LST) is pleased to announce that fine art photographer; Don Jacobson is now the gallery’s featured artist. Don has participated in many of the gallery’s past art competitions and he has placed in every art exhibition that he competed in!
The world of photography and the world of the natural wonders of the Sierra Nevada opened to Don Jacobson simultaneously. The photographs he took with his little Kodak Brownie were woefully inadequate to express the grandeur of the Range of Light. Within a week of his first backpack trip into the high country, he bought his first SLR, a Pentax Spotmatic and began to take photography classes.

Our art competition for August was the 4th Annual “SeaScapes” and 2D and 3D artists (including photography) from around the world were called upon to make online submissions for possible inclusion in to the Gallery’s September 2014 online group art exhibition. The “SeaScapes” theme was considered to be any art with the subjects being scenes of coastal living, any ocean activities, seaside vistas and any related seashore subjects for inclusion into this art exhibition.
This art competition and the submission process and competition for the artists began in July 2014 and concluded on August 27, 2014. The gallery received 647 entries from 19 different countries from around the world, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Cyprus, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. In addition, the gallery received entries from 38 different states.
