 Be able to look up an industry using the NAICS code and find industry
reports
 Identify company information such as key executives, number of
employees, head office location, subsidiaries, etc
 Identify company financials
 Identify main competitors
 Quickly find key news and company history
Group Activity: Handout
Select an industry you are interested in.
1) Identify the NAICS code
• Identify key players and Market Trends and Outlook
2) Select a company in that industry
• Identify key executives, # of employees, recent news
• Identify share price, Revenue, and EPS
3) Give 1 interesting fact you read in the country profile for Canada
