INT. POSH RETAURANT NIGHT - NIGHT
1. W.A., Tracking shot around the table where a MAN
and WOMMAN are sat for a romantic meal for their
anniversary. The restaurant they go to is posh
and expensive with the waiters wearing
cummerbunds and frilly shirts. The CAMERA PANS
around the room briefly looking at how well
dressed the people in the restaurant are then
looks straight up at the chandelier, capturing
the sparkles as the light reflects off it.
TRACKING SHOT as couple are shown to their table,
seated and handed a menu.
2. C.U., PANNING SHOT UP AND DOWN the WAITER; with
slick hair, square cheek bones and a French
accent approaches the couple sat at the table.
WAITER
(posh accent)
Are you both ready to order?
3. M.S., The couple simultaneously close the menus.
MAN
Yes thank you, I'll
be having the caviar.
4. THOW SHOT., The waiter then takes his menu.
WAITER
Thank you sir. And
what will the lady be
having this evening?
5. OVER THE SHOULDER SHOT as the lady looks and
smiles at the waiter and hands the waiter the
menu.

WOMAN
I think I'll be
having the same
thank you.
6. All 3 in shot but can only see the waiter from
behind as he bows.
WAITER
Thank you, your meals
will be with you as soon
as they are ready. Enjoy
your evening.
7. M.S., TRACKING SHOT as the waiter walks away with
both menus tucked under his arm towards the
kitchen. SIDE VIEW of the WAITER walking towards
the kitchen but camera stops tracking as he enters
the kitchen.
FADE OUT.
FADE IN.
8. M.S., The shot fades back in with a PANNING SHOT
of the couple laughing over a couple of glasses
of champagne as the waiter approaches with both
their meals.
9. L.S., The waiter approaches the table with both
hands full.
WAITER
For the lady we have
caviar and for the gentleman
we have the same.
10. CLOSE UP of the plates as the WAITER places
(camera switching from each plate) both meals in
3. 3
front of the couple and takes a few steps back
and bows.
WAITER
Have a pleasant evening.
11. M.S., The waiter turns his back and proceeds to
walk away.
12. L.S., The waiter returns shortly with a
chair, spoon and bowl.
13. Close up as he places the chair between the
couple eating their meals and sits down.
14. Over the shoulder shot as he leans back.
15. Close up of his hand as he takes a napkin from
the table behind him and a close up of his hands
and torso as he tucks it in to his t-shirt
collar.
16. Wide angle shot revealing all 3 characters as he
then, with his bare hands, picks up food from the
couples plates.
17. Close up as he dumps it in to the bowl he
brought.
18. M.s., A close up of the couples faces as they both
repeatedly (camera switches from the man’s face to
the woman’s face) look at each other then both
look at the waiter then back at each other then
once again back at the waiter.
19. C.U., Close up of the WAITER’s face showing a
confused look and food on his face looks up at
the couple and sprays food over the table
WAITER
What . . .
my hands were clean.

FADE IN:
EXT STREET - EVENING
1. L.S., WIDE ANGLE facing ET and several children on
bikes. ET is in the basket on the front of a bike
being chased by the police. The BOY who is riding
the bike has his hood up and there is a gang of
other teenagers about the same age of 14
following him riding their bikes as well.
BOY
(panting)
Don't worry ET! I'll
get you to the
meeting spot safe,
just hold on!

Home...
2. C.U., Of BOY's face as the teens are getting
ever so closer so the end of the road where
3. The camera PANS from boys face quickly to the road
works at the end of the road.
Boy
(shouting)
ET we're running out
of road, what are we
going to do?! We can't
stop because they'll get
you and take you away!
ET
Eeeee Teee, Homeee....
4. CLOSE UP on ET as he raises his finger to the sky
5. EXTREME CLOSE UP of the tip of the finger when it
lights up

6. TRACKING SHOT following the bottom of the bikes
wheels as the bike starts to hover.
Boy
ET! What are you doing!
ET

7. M.S., as the bike then starts to fly off just
before they crash in to the road works
8. CLOSE UP of the back wheel of the bike hits the
sign swerving the bike slightly.
Boy
(shouting)
Oh my god ET,
Were flying!
ET
Home!
Boy
No, ET! Don't lean
forward you will fall!
9. C.U., Of ET as he continues to lean forward,
pointing towards the sky as he leans.
ET
Home...
Boy
No ET no!
ET
ET going
hhhhhooommmmmmeeeeeeeee!
10. E.L.S., and there is a silhouette of the bike and
ET falling from the basket in front of the moon.

FADE IN:
EXT STREET - DAY
1. L.S., It is a bright & sunny Tuesday morning and a
MAN is walking down the street talking to his
FRIEND on his cellular Nokia 3310 phone.
MAN
Yeah, sounds like a plan!
FRIEND
OK great, what time
are you thinking?
2. M.S., Of the man as he stops, looks at his phone
and thinks for a moment.
MAN
How does 6:00PM
sound to you?
FRIEND
Yeah yeah pal that
sounds great, see
you then!
3. CLOSE UP of the MAN’s feet as he accidentally
trips as he tries to put his phone back in to his
pocket. CLOSE UP TRACKING SHOT of the phone as it
ends up being launched in to the air and slams
against the ground. Not breaking the phone but
breaking a hole into the pavement. CLOSE UP of the
hole in the pavement.
4. E.C.U., Of the MAN’s face, eyes wide, stares at
the hole that his phone had just created with
shock.

5. W.A.S., It is a scorching day in Australia's
outback desert and an Australian farmer is
casually minding his own business when out of
nowhere shoots out of the earth a Nokia 3310
cellular phone!
FARMER
Crikey mate, Not another one!
I've got a pile goin' on 'ere!
6. M.S., He throws the phone onto a large pile of
Nokia phones...
