Bethany has been drawing disturbing pictures of harming her mother. Her mother finds the drawings, including one of Bethany killing her mother. At the dinner table, Bethany sinisterly smiles at her mother while playing with a knife, saying she's thinking of ways to kill her. The mother is left terrified by Bethany's ominous threat and strange behavior.
