This document describes the editing process for an image and accompanying text layout for a magazine. The original black and white image was recolored using adjustment layers and textures were added to give a smoky, grungy effect. Text was then placed on colored boxes over the image in different fonts, along with a title, subtitle, and pull quote. A second edited image was also added and aligned with the body text.

1. This is the original image but made black and white
using the adjustments tool.
With a duplicate layer over it and the soft light
restoration in effect I re-coloured some parts of the
image.
I then added a new layer with a smoky texture on it so
it gave the effect of being a back road gig, and a bit
grunge which goes with the magazine.

2. I then added different shapes to divide up the
page. (Box and lines)
Finally I added text in two different fonts
(scorched earth and segoe condensed)

3. On the first layer I coloured the background and
added coloured boxes for my text to sit in. I then
added a title including a subtitle and a pull quote.
The I added the main body of the text.
On the second layer i added an edited
picture and aligned it with the text.
