1. AIM To see what kind of Acids corrode iron nails the most. My hypothesis is that the solution with more Acid will cause more rust.
2. Equipment 5 Nail’s 5 Test tube’s 3ml Water 3ml Coke 3ml Lime 3mlVinegar
3. Method Get all your equipment ready. Pour 3ml of water into test tube number one Pour 3ml of green cordial into test tube number two Pour 3ml of coke into test tube number three Pour 3ml of vinegar into test tube four Pour 1.5 ml of coke and 1.5 ml of green cordial into test tube number five Weigh each nail individually and then put them in their corresponding test tube. Wait three weeks before taking the nails out and weighing them and then work out the difference in weight.

7. Discussion At first I thought the Coke would Corrode the nails the most instead of Water, Lime and Vinegar. But I was wrong the Vinegar did something really weird it lost 0.1 grams I’m not sure how but my Hypothesis is that the nail in the Vinegar ate the inside of the nail that’s why it got litter. The other thing was that the water turned gold and was really rusty.
8. Conclusion I reckon that the Water did the best rusting out of all of them and the Coke second best Vinegar third coke and lime fourth and Lime last. So thank you for watching my Report hope you enjoyed.
