2. Start your college search process by creating an account. Hit the “Sign Up” button on the top right corner to sign up as a Student.

3. Complete your student profile with as much information as possible. This way, schools can know more about your and you can get matched with
more scholarships!

4. Start searching for universities by hitting Schools, and then University at the top left corner.

5. Lets say you want to learn more about MIT. Type “MIT” in the search bar, and locate their school profile. Click to learn more quick facts about the
school. If you like what you see, click again where you’ll be redirected to their full school profile.

6. Welcome to the MIT Profile! See the check mark next to the title of the school? That means an administrator from the school manages the page.
This is extremely valuable to helping you get into school. Hit “I’m Interested” to notify the school of your interest. If they like what they see in your
student profile then you two can start communicating on SchooLinks.

7. Click on the “My Chances” button so you can learn the probability of you getting accepted. Input test scores, extracurriculars, and more
information so you can have an idea of the likelihood of you getting in.

8. Scroll down and hit the application tab. You can get more information about the application process at MIT, from deadlines to the application fee.

9. Scroll down further and take a Virtual Tour of MIT. This can save you thousands of dollars on travel expenses and you can see what it would be
like to be a student at MIT.

10. Browse scholarships that you can apply to by clicking “Scholarships” at the top of the page. Take advantage of our “Recommended for You”
feature. Based off of the information you provided in your profile, we will match you with scholarships that you are eligible to apply for; which will
save you from spending time and energy on researching scholarships applicable to you.

11. You can also search for scholarships based on keywords. Let’s say you’re an international student. Type in “International” in the search bar, and
all of the scholarships that apply to International Students will pop up.

12. Pick a scholarship you’re interested on the list, and click to learn more details. If you are eligible to apply for the scholarship, click “Apply” and
you’ll be redirected to the application page for the scholarship.

13. Confused about applying to college as an international student? Do you want to learn more about where to study abroad? Use a College
Consultant to get help. Hit “Consultants” at the top of the screen to begin.

14. Search for a consultant that can help you with a keyword such as “Study Abroad”. All of our consultants who specialize in studying abroad will
pop up. Select a consultant who you think can help you and click to read more about their profile.

15. Doug seems like he will be able to help you out. Click “Yes, I’m interested” at the top of your screen to let him know that you want to work with
him. Based off of the information in your profile, Doug can determine if he would be able to help you out. If he thinks it would be a good match, he
will accept your invitation. Thereafter, you can ask him questions or seek guidance on where to study abroad.
