The new SCADAPack 470i and 474i (47xi) combine the x70 RTU platform with a Linux-based applications processor.
• Develop applications for the RTU using general-purpose languages such as C/C++ or Python and support for
applications in containers (Dockers)
• Helps to reduce time and effort to add new features and applications by exploiting the large Linux ecosystem of tools,
libraries, forums, etc.
• Webserver included and web application support, including available AVEVA graphics, using EcoStruxure RTU Operations
Expert (a rebrand of AVEVA Edge)
• Support for new secure protocols such as MQTT®, OPC UA, and Sparkplug B using EcoStruxure RTU Operations
ExpertView or tools such as Node-RED
• Edge Analytics platform using Python
