Scania's interim report for January-March 2016 indicates a 2% rise in operating income to SEK 2,295 million and a 3% increase in net sales to SEK 23,056 million, driven by higher vehicle and service volumes in Europe. Order bookings for trucks in Europe reached their highest level since 2007, although demand in Latin America remains low. Overall, cash flow from vehicles and services declined significantly to SEK 133 million from SEK 783 million the previous year.
