Stages under theSBI PO Exam Pattern 2016: • Phase 1: Preliminary Examination • Phase 2: Main Examination • Phase 3: Descriptive Test and Personal Interview • The candidates should note that their participation in every other stage except the Phase 1 is subject to their qualification through a cutoff score which the SBI brings out just after the examination depending upon the constitutional affirmative policy. •

SBI PO PreliminaryExam Pattern 2016 • Important highlights for the Exam pattern followed in the preliminary exam are as follows: • The Preliminary examination is an objective type examination where the candidates need to select one correct option out of given four options. • The total mark of the exam is 100. • For every correct response provided, the candidates would be awarded 1 mark and for every wrong response ¼ mark willet deducted. However no mark will be deducted for any response. • The test would be conducted online and every response should be marked using the mouse. • The total time allotted is 60 minutes. • The candidates should note that there are three sections in the Preliminary examination which has sectional cutoffs which the candidates need to clear.
