Description: Maxtrad is a Web-Based Application used for the purpose of Online Trading. It
enables its customers to perform worldwide trade transactions. The project at Infosys is to
provide Production Support/Maintenance to the application. It includes activities like Problem
Management where Analysis is carried out to find out the root cause for any issue, Incident
Management where Incidents raised for day-to-day issues/activities are tracked, updated and
closed in time to meet the SLA requirements, Change Management which involves activities like
analysis and bug fixes in the application. The project also involves timely SIP (System
Improvement Plan) items, where individuals can contribute to enhancement of the application
based on the knowledge gained and expertise.
Roles/Responsibilities:
 Proactive monitoring of the application, to identify and fix production issues.
 Analysis and Replication of the production issues to find the root cause.
 Preparation of scripts in Oracle Database tool and Microsoft SQL Server based on the
requirements.
 Code Analysis for Test Defects raised, and identifying the code fix for the same.
 Incident Management involving tracking of incidents and ensuring the adherence to
SLA requirements.
 Documentation involving preparation of Impact Analysis Document to record the code
fixes, Test Case Results Document to record the steps performed as a part of testing after
the code change is deployed successfully.
