Santa Anastasia was established in 1967 by 127 colonists from surrounding towns and takes its name from a chapel located near a spring in Capadocia, Anastasia. It is located next to Ejea De Los Caballeros in Zaragoza province, Spain and currently has a population of 446 residents, half of whom work in construction. The town has several local businesses and its main festivals are celebrated in July.

2. THE NAME … The name of Santa Anastasia comes from a place called like a chapel devoted to the Virgin to Capadocia, Anastasia. It is located next to a spring called Fontanzas.

3. HISTORY It was inaugurated the 8th april1967. They lived 127 colonistes coming from Ejea, Rivas, Nuévalos, Castejón de Valdejasa and Ibdes.

5. Population and jobs Now, they live 446 colonistes in the Santa Anastasia town. The 50% of people work in building. Also , in the town there is a baker`s, a butcher´s, a market, a hairdresser`s and a two pubs.
