Cardwell Range
Upgrade, QLD
My role on the Cardwell Range Upgrade involved the long term supervision of the drilling
rig, logging the soils and rocks from the boreholes, onsite testing of rock strength, aiding the
seismic team and undertaking reporting roles.
Grosvenor Coal
Project, QLD
My role on this project involved geotechnical and geological interpretation of the rock core
in the proposed area for drilling the new mine ventilation shafts, which also included
selecting appropriate samples and supervising the drilling team.
Yarrabah Quarry

My role on the project was to conduct the preliminary study for the future expansion of the
Yarrabah aggregate quarry. This involved the planning, walkover study, geotechnical
mapping, resource calculation and generation of the final report.

My role on the NDRRA works along the Wallaman Falls Rd and Mt Fox Rd in Ingham
involved undertaking geotechnical and slope stability assessments after extreme weather
events between 2009 and 2013, providing assistance to the contractors clearing, reshaping
and rebuilding the roadways and slopes, acting within the superintendent role and
inspecting the works and signing off completed works.

My role on this project involved undertaking geotechnical fieldwork at the mine site to
assess borrow materials onsite to be used in the construction of the future dams.
Arrow Pipelines

My role on these projects was to undertake the fieldwork aspect of these Pipeline
investigations where I was a rig supervisor logging the geology. I also acted as a site
supervisor, working with the client and local landholders, ensuring that Health and Safety
was prioritised and managed, and that all other procedures were followed.
Sino Iron Project,
Pilbara, WA
My work on the Sino Iron Project involved the onsite management of the personnel, clients,
drilling rigs, samples, permits to work, cultural heritage, surveying. I also ensured that all of
the works onsite continued without hindrance. This also involved working with overseas
delegates in a culturally sensitive manner, providing education and guidance on Australian
rules and regulations.

Phase 4, Pilbara, WA
My role on the project involved the supervision of field investigations, rock and soil logging,
insitu testing and surveying. This also included the supervision of my team and their
equipment, i.e. excavators, drilling rigs, a Marsh buggy and support equipment. The
working areas onsite varied from sand dunes, beaches, rock outcrops, intra-tidal areas and
offshore investigations. During Phase 4 of the project I mentored the younger site
supervisors.

My role on the project was to undertake subsurface investigations in the new South of
Embley investigation area to assess the ground conditions with a priority on assessing the
potential groundwater conditions through microfractures in the soil matrix.

My role on this project was to undertake geophysical and geotechnical fieldwork to analyse
the ground conditions within the proposed new spoil tip areas in the mining lease.
