Synopsis : The project basically deals with connectivity media like
Bluetooth.The project is responsible for testing of Connectivity media on
android platform. Here we are responsible for Mainitainance of BT stack.
Bluetooth technology is a free of cost technology that establishes a PAN
(private area network between two devices. It can be used to transfer data
between two devices within a range of 10 meters. The recent version
Bluetooth version 2.0 can transfer data at the rate of 5 or 6mbps. The
upper layer Bluetooth consists of L2CAP, FTP, OPP, HF, HS and RFCOMM.
L2CAP stands for logical link and adaptation protocol that establishes
logical link between two Bluetooth devices. OPP stands for object push
protocol which can push or pull business cards. FTP stands for file transfer
protocol which is used to transfer files and folders between two devices.
RFCOMM serves as an emulator that emulates itself as a serial port for
communication and the last protocol is the SDP (service discovery protocol)
that provides the services provided. HF profile is used for the purpose of
establishing hands free communication between the handset and the
headset
